Date: Saturday, October 10, 2026
Where: South View High School (Hope Mills, NC)
Start Time: 2:00 PM (Time is flexible to fit amount of registered bands)
Registration Fee: $100.00 (checks made payable to the South View Band Boosters)
Registration Deadline: September 18, 2026
Bands will be placed into classes based on the following number of wind players:
Class A-1-30 Winds
Class AA-31-50 Winds
Class AAA-50-69 Winds
Class AAAA-70+ Winds
Please note that class sizes are subject to change depending on the number of bands registered.

Information for Spectators
Gates Open at 12 PM
Admission is $12.00 (5 & under Free)
National Anthem will be performed at 2:15pm
First Band at 2:30pm
Concessions will be available
Awards at 8:30 PM
CANCELLED FOR 2026 DUE TO HURRICANE ISAIAS
Good afternoon everyone,
This feels like déjà vu and I promise we tried everything to have this competition tomorrow, but the Rumble in the Jungle XXVIII Band Competition scheduled for 10/10/26 has been cancelled due the inclement weather associated with Hurricane Isaias.
I want to thank all of you for registering for this event and I hope you will consider us again next year. We always plan for the second Saturday in October every year. Next year will be October 9th, 2027.
I want to thank the general manager at the Crown Coliseum for being willing to work with us. For a brief moment this morning, we had the Crown Coliseum secured but unfortunately due to previous scheduled maintenance and prepping of the logos for the ice rink for hockey this fell through.
Everyone stay safe tomorrow, and hopefully at some point we will all get to enjoy some bandtober before it's over.
